A Neck and Shoulder Release
Relaxation
Our neck and shoulders are an area of the body where you can easily hold tension, especially if you’re desk-bound and spend a lot of time sitting in front of a computer. If you spend a long time with a tense neck or hunched shoulders, the baseline of what you become used to gets contracted, and the nervous system recognises that as normal. Enjoy this short sequence of movements to unwind some of those tension holding patterns, and discover your ‘new-normal’, with your neck and shoulders feeling free of tension.
You can even do this practice sitting at your desk!
